If you are interested in rehoming one or a pair of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £200. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life. Aquarius's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: 29.9.25:Aquarius 2nd generation of a colony was her mums 3rd litter, though unfortunately not her mothers last. Born and living in the streets all 10 months of her life, you could say she is a bit reluctant to humans but thankfully isn't showing any signs of aggression and has had meat sticks from humans hand. She was spayed, microchipped, flea and worm treated 2 weeks ago and is now living safely away from the dangers of the streets.
Aquarius came into RescueRemedies on the 2nd October 25

Aquarius is fairly nervous but nothing that a bit of time and patience can't undone!

Met this sweetie today who is still adjusting to rescue life instead of street life (I'm sure she prefers it here!). What a pretty little bundle who is mingling happily with the other youngsters in the creche, and was delighted to have some Dreamies offered!

I dream of the day she will engaged and even dare to say, ask for a bit of
.
Meanwhile, we gonna patiently let her figure out by herself that we want her no harm.

This dear little kitty was in her basket on Sunday of last week and yesterday (Monday) was in exactly the same position when I went to visit the cats in that pen. You can tell she is a real sweetheart and what a pretty little girl! She accepted quite a lot of tiny chicken bits as treats from me - I placed them right by her on her basket and she just gobbled them up.
She seemed to listen attentively to me chattering on about things and was neither bothered nor enthralled by my conversation! I am sure this will change as she gets more used to us, the cat cuddlers, and to her environment at the rescue.
Come on little Aquarius - life is now better for you and will get a whole load more so.

It was my first visit to gorgeous little Aquarius. She is absolutely beautiful but understandably hasn't had enough time to get used to humans yet. She did however enjoy some treats and a little snuggle with Wilma
she has a constant look of uncertainty in her eyes at the moment, but I have seen it so many times where cats like her suddenly realise they can trust us and blossom wonderfully later on. Watch this space

Aimee certainly managed to make Aquarius brighten and enjoy her treats - even that worried look has left her eyes - well done Aimee!
What a dear little cat she is!
I visited her again yesterday and once again she was snuggled in her basket. She will take a while to get to know me but I think my little pieces of chicken do help.
She looks such a dear little creature and if we can just break down the barriers of her mistrust she will certainly blossom in the right home. Slowly and patiently with Aquarius I feel - she is still a young kitty and will learn to adjust.
I look forward to my next visit to her and one day maybe she will start leaving her basket and join the other cats in her pen as they frolic round my feet.
Be brave little girl - we are here to help you.
