Bright Eyes' Story: Bright Eyes was trapped having been living stray for years. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Bright Eyes is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Bright Eyes is in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one or a pair of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £200. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.

Claire arrived at her Aunts property this afternoon. She set up the trap in the house. Bright Eyes was in the garden waiting for food. Claire slid the trap out and quietly closed the door and watched 5 minutes with a prayer to her Aunt he was in the trap.

Bright Eyes is being taken to our vet tomorrow morning.

Bright Eyes was examined today and he was blood tested. Sadly he is FIV+ which means he has to be a single house cat.

Bright Eyes is between 7-10 years old and needs an urgent dental. Our vets have very kindly agreed to fit in when they neuter him. I will be collecting late tomorrow afternoon

I met our new arrival today he was scared and getting use to his new environment. He did find his new comfortable bed.
Bless him.

Bright Eyes is easy to handle! Our vets had no problems injecting him and lifting him and getting plasters wrapped around his leg off...not a hiss. He has now been neutered, vaccinated, tested ..FIV+, flea and worm treated and a full dental.

Settling in ....

Meet this sweet boy today for the time! He was understandably shy and a bit scared but nothing is impossible with a lots of love and gentleness.
I could feel his head slowly leaning to my palm by the end of it_ you're in good hand my lovely, you're safe🩷

I've been trying my luck with this lovely lad today and see if he will care for a treat! He wasn't massively comfortable with being touch but thats alright 😇😊.

I get to see him braver despite that, Bright eyes got out of his bed !!!
